As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. The Management of Ammasco International Limited led by its benevolent chairman and CEO in the Person of Alh. Mustapha Ado built and today commissioned a nine classroom Block at the National Secretariat of Gobirawa Project Primary School premises Located at Kurna Asabe Fagge Local Government Area, Kano State.
The Occasion was indeed a Home coming for the Chairman of Ammasco International Limited as Gobirawa Project Primary School was his primary school and holds a special place in his heart.
The commissioning ceremony had a lot of Dignitaries present which included: The Kano State Governor Alh Dr Abdullahi Umar ganduje Ably Represented by the Secretary to the State Government Kano state Alhaji Usman Alhaji, the Emir of Kano Alh. Aminu Ado Bayero ably represented by the District Head of Dala.
Other dignitaries in attendance were: HON. AMINU SULEIMAN Honorable member of the House of reps for the Fagge Federal Constituency, Honorable Chairmen for Fagge and Dala Local Government, Managing director Nigerian Airport Authority, Past and Present Head Masters of Gobirawa Project Primary School. Chairman Gobirawa old Boys associations (GOBA) among a host of numerous others.
As part of his speech the CCEO of Ammasco Alh. Mustapha Ado intoned that “Many years ago we stood here in this very place as students, it wasn’t very easy for us at that time despite all that, the Government was very supportive in a lot of aspects, they made us realize the importance of education and showed us it can take us to places we could never imagine.
Today one can only be thankful and feel the need to give back to the community that made you. It was with this intention that I embarked on the project of building this new classrooms to make sure that the upcoming generation also will enjoy the liberty of quality education in a very conducive environment that is better than what we had during our time.
Today I feel very happy standing in front of the already completed building with fully furnished classrooms for our children and future generations. Furthermore I would like to commend the entire members of GOBA and the entire staff of Gobirawa Primary school for the huge amount of effort they have put in the school that the school still stands as it stood before and even better, giving the next generation access to quality education, and I would like to assure you all that this is just the beginning we are just getting started.”
The Students of the School were very grateful for the new block of classrooms and performed a song rendition to show their appreciation. The commissioning of the classrooms was done by the Secretary to the State Government Alh. Usman Alhaji.
